Questions about carpet cleaning

Know what to expect.

What can Zenith carpet and upholstery cleaning include?

The confirmed scope can include compatible installed carpet, rooms, hallways, stair flights, landings, area rugs, couches, chairs, sectionals and mattresses. Every material and item is assessed before water-based extraction is approved.

What does standalone carpet cleaning cost?

Standalone carpet, rug, upholstery and mattress appointments have a $149 minimum before GST. Individual room, area and item prices are listed on this page, and Zenith confirms the final range after reviewing the material, condition and access.

Can carpet cleaning be added to a house cleaning?

Yes. Compatible carpet or upholstery extraction can be added to another qualifying Zenith cleaning appointment. Add-on pricing is lower than standalone pricing because the team is already attending the property, but the items, equipment route and timing still need confirmation.

How long will carpet take to dry?

There is no universal drying time. Fibre, construction, humidity, ventilation, soil level and extraction conditions all affect drying. Zenith completes additional dry passes where appropriate and provides guidance for the property after cleaning.

Do I need to move furniture before carpet cleaning?

Remove small, fragile and loose items before arrival. Very heavy, delicate or unsafe furniture is not automatically moved, so discuss any furniture that blocks an included area before the appointment is confirmed.

Will every stain and odour be removed?

No. Zenith treats compatible recoverable soil but cannot guarantee removal of permanent staining, dye loss, wear or odours that have reached carpet backing, underlay or the structure below.

Are rugs and upholstery cleaned the same way as installed carpet?

Not automatically. Fibre, dyes, backing, construction, care labels and present condition are reviewed separately before Zenith decides whether water-based extraction is suitable for a rug or upholstered item.

How should I prepare for carpet cleaning?

Remove small items and fragile objects, identify spots and previous treatments, provide clear parking and equipment access, secure children and pets away from hoses, and plan ventilation with limited traffic while cleaned fibres are damp.
